It is no secret that the Elder Scrolls series is an RPG giant. With so many games in the series, it can be hard to remember the backstory of every character. The next best thing would be to experience it yourself! A new web-based simulation game created by someone under the moniker “Elian” has just been released with that very goal in mind. You can customize any race and then select a class, appearance, and skill set for your character to embark on their own adventure in Vvardenfell. There are also some interactive elements built into the game with certain NPCs you can talk to or locations you can explore without starting a quest line or incurring an incorrect action penalty. Elian’s site states that the game is “unofficial” because of limitations in the game engine. The race, class, appearance, and skill sets are not playable without it being installed, but you can still re-create your character or create a new one to use. You are able to make any changes you want to the player character based on the original Elder Scrolls games. There are also some other features available on Elian’s site which you can access without registering, but I won’t go into detail about them because I don't think they're very necessary. To create a custom player character you will need to sign up for an account, which is available on the site. After signing up, you are given options to create a new account or login to your existing one. You can also select to share your character on Facebook or Twitter if you have an account with either of those services. Once you have entered all the required information and selected your options, click “Create Character” to finalize the process. Once this has been completed you are able to customize the physical attributes of your character along with his/her class, race, and skill sets. You even have the option to swap out or create a new appearance if you want. It is possible to simulate your character being born in the game through Elian’s skill sets. The gameplay is otherwise completely open, unlike most simulation games out there. Lastly, after creating, entering, and saving your character information, you can choose to either save or restore your file. There are additional options for various races, classes, and appearances which are available here as well. If you would like to save your character for future use, select “Save” from this list of saved files on the left side of the screen. If you would like to load a previously saved character, choose “Restore” from this same side of the screen. Going through Elian’s tutorial is a good idea before you create your character because it supplies information about the different aspects of the game, some of which are bolded in green. For example, it tells you what keys are intended to be used for class selecting. The interaction with NPCs is mostly limited to clicking on them or saying their name out loud. Clicking on an NPC will bring up some menus with options available, but it doesn’t have any direct effect on gameplay. cfa1e77820
